ABOUT ME

Im a very natural person, enjoy my life, spending time with family and friends and meeting new people. I live by the philosophy that you learn a little something from every person you meet.

I am from Essex, have lived in Coventry and Cardiff. I will take any given chance to go travelling, meet new people, experience new cultures and believe a huge part of that is the people :)
Travelling for me is meeting local people and understanding their country through their eyes.

Im a vegetarian which is a central aspect to my life, a bit of a hidden hippie at heart!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the minute I can't really host as I share a rented house! Hoping in the near future I will have a place of my own and be able to host fellow travellers.

I once met some great characters in Amsterdam and am looking to return to the amazing country. Before that trip I met some amazing people on a random trip to Belgium surfing with them.

For those travelling to Wales most definatly can meet up with people, show them some of the localities and we'll go from there :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Approaching my first ever couchsurfing experience in Brussels I began to question why we were doing this especially since it took us half an hour to get in touch with our host and with no back up! Little should I have worried, being with a very close friend we got hold of our hosts and had an amazing 5 days exploring Belgium! They showed us Belgium by day and by night, food and drink, sights and sounds! It was a brilliant trip to be repeated sometime soon!

Interests

I love to travel, seeing new parts of the world whether this be in Wales, the UK or abroad. At any given opporunity I will get up and travel and hope one day to do so with my career.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled to Romania and have volunteered in an orphanage across six different times. The experience took me to a country I fell in love with. The work was difficult but life changing and the people I met became a huge part of my life. It just goes to show that when an opportunity comes your way taking it can lead to many memories and experiences you could never imagine!

I believe that you can learn something new from everybody you meet. Probably part of the reason I'm in this profession!
