I'm a mature traveler with a dry sense of humour who loves to experience different cultures and make new friends around the world. As I travel I have a keen focus on learning about indigenous wisdom and spiritual practices - particularly animist, shamanic and other earth based folk traditions. I'm interested in men's health and am working towards building a healing retreat in my home of Nova Scotia. I also love to sing, drum, DJ and dance.

Interests

I love drumming, singing and playing guitar - learning local traditional songs when I travel is a particular joy. I also love electronic music and have been a DJ for 20 years.

I think men struggle to get the help they need for mental and physical health and as I transition out of working in technology, this will be my focus. I am writing a book that is looking at men's health from a holistic rather than mechanistic perspective.

I am fascinated and horrified by global politics and enjoy hearing new perspectives on where humanity is heading.

I practice hatha and kundalini yoga and love to meditate in sacred places.
