About Me
I`m nice and friendly fellow)
i`m currently working for the russian-american game developing company
deeply love my job and the life in Saint Petersburg)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Basically the idea is to 'bring world to my place', because for some reason i can`t leave the country right now but in the same time i`m highly interested in knowing other cultures and meeting new people from abroad
Also i dont live in Saint Petersburg long enough to have many friends and contacts in here, so its a little boring to live alone from time to time
Interests
European history, philosophy, english football (Everton FC), any kinds of weird new stuff)
I have a few specific historical and cultural subjects that interests me particularly and if the place you`re living in is related to any of them, and if you could bring me something small (maybe a tourist guidebook, just a printed picture or a brochure of some kind, anything) about this subjects... well, it would be greatly appreciated and really make me happy!
Such subjectes are:Reign of the House of Plantagenet; Oliver Cromwell and English Civil War; Albrecht von Wallenstein, Gustavus Adolphus, Axel Oxenstierna and The Thirty Years War; Reign of the House of Orange-Nassau in Netherlands; Renais Descartes; Paintings "The Tower of Babel" by Pieter Bruegel the Elder; Late history of Byzantine Empire
