I live with my wife who I have converted to the ways of Couchsurfing. In 2019 we welcomed our baby girl. We are both laid back easy going types in our 40s

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and I usually have enough time to show you around and if not I can atleast give you direction on where to go and how.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted plenty, but haven't really couchsurfed myself, but i've crashed in many a places and lived in many places. I like to think I was couchsurfing before there was couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

depends on my mood, pretty wide ranging I suppose.

Music: Most of my music CD's (when I owned those) were from the 1950's and 60's

Movies: I enjoy all movies, mainly because I love popcorn, mainly because I love butter

Books: Kinda embarrassing, but don't read many books......mostly podcasts these days (NPR kinda stuff)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

running of the bulls, hitch-hiked from Pennyslvania to Oregon, safari in Tanzania, Egypt, Danube Delta, numerous major sporting events (Olympics, tour de france, Wimbledon, BCS Bowl Games, NCAA tournaments)

I've lived in Portland for 18 years and have been in Oregon all of my adult life so I know the area well. I am a history major so I could bore you with that if you wish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have only hosted so far, but I suppose I could share many of my experiences. And would obviously return the favor if any host of mine wanted to stay with me!
