I am currently working on European health policy in Brussels—clinging to the EU—and am new to couchsurfing. I am keen to meet and laugh with like minded locals as for me it is one of the most enjoyable parts of traveling; it is the people not the places which one remembers most fondly.

Unfortunately only being 25 and on intern wages, I don't the good fortune of living in a private residence where hosting is accepted. So far the people I have met through warmshowers have been fantastic. I consider this form of travel the most rewarding—gaining a local's viewpoint on the area adds a lot of depth to ones impressions of a place.
