About Me
Standard architecture nerd living the student life in Germany and loving every minute of it. Unfortunately my living situation has made it impossible to host here, but I hope to be able to again soon!
I can usually entertain myself in new places by looking at cool bridges and poking around wonky churches, but drinks with friends are always great too. As an avowed urbanist, I really enjoy riding a bicycle around a new city and trying to catch up to its rhythm. That being said, I thoroughly enjoy hiking and camping thanks to spending my formative years in upstate NY.
Overall, I'm pretty easy-going, especially when traveling. Staying out dancing til the crack of dawn or turning in early with a good book - I can do both.
Looking forward to meeting some of you someday maybe!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Combining inexpensive lodging with meeting new people is pretty excellent. Experience has taught me that knowing a local resident is the best way to trick unsuspecting cities into flashing you the goodies.
Have had great experiences hosting and surfing, and hoping for more!

Music, Movies, and Books
Heavily into Douglas Adams, pretty massive Harry Potter nerd, and I also read LOTS of boring architecture books.
I watch a lot of movies and listen to a lot of music. My super power is that I can watch bad movies and still have a good time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my job and moved to Germany for grad school.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got a head full of architectural theory, historical facts, and dive bar locations. Use my knowledge as you will!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My friendly manner and a fine six-pack (of beer, don't get your hopes up for the other kind).
