About Me
Whats to say? I think I'm pretty laid back and friendly. When I travel, I like to take it kind of easy. I'd rather see fewer places, and really explore them, than just "hit" all the spots. I really enjoy where I live, but at the same time want to experience other places and meet new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe it is important when traveling to experience the places you go, not just see them. What better way to do this than to live with the people there?
Interests
I have many hobbies. To list them all would be somewhat tedious. But, I like to read, and I especially like being/doing things outdoors. I have a passion for my pets (a dog and 3 frogs), and enjoy trying new things, even if I'm unsure whether or not I'll like them.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty open to all kinds of music, with the exception of country (I know I live in the heart of country music).
To list all the movies would be too much, but basically I like slapstick humor (Mel Brooks movies, Anchorman, Napoleon Dynamite), thrillers, action, and I'll sit through a romantic movie if the mood is right
Books I enjoy include Ishmael, The Stand, A Confederacy of Dunces, The Selfish Gene, Ghost Soldiers. I could go on but as far as books go, I'll read just about anything except a romance novel. I personally like fiction more (just easier to get in to most of the time) but am not picky and enjoy learning. Recently I haven't been able to read for pleasure much due to the enormous amount of reading required for law school.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked down into the Grand Canyon and then back out in the middle of August. Absolutely one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Friendship, hopefully a little perspective from my small side of the world. I've never been outside the US, although it has been a dream of mine for some time. But, I feel that the way of life in Tulsa OK is pretty good, and I look forward to sharing my experiences with others and learning from their experiences. Most of all, I just want to share a drink and have a good chat.
