About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel to to Utrecht this December, to Vienna next March, to Athens next Mai, to Stockholm next July...
ABOUT ME
I like travelling and visiting the beautiful and intersting places of the world. I enjoy it to read scientific papers, tons of books but also Süddeutsche Zeitung (my fav newspaper). I used to live in Greece (Athens) and France (Montpellier). I grew up at Heidelberg. Cooking or having a BBQ party with friends & doing sports and are some of my fav leisure activities.
PHILOSOPHY
Even the longest way starts with the first step. (Lao Tse, ~ 600-400 B. C.)
Cherish the day. Don`t dream your life - live your dream.
"One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye."(Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

Music, Movies, and Books
My fav authors are Thomas Bernhard, T. C. Boyle, Bert Brecht, Hermann Hesse, Max Frisch, Petros Markaris, Albert Camus, Franz Kafka, Paul Auster and John Steinbeck. Especially I enjoy extistentialist literature and all kinds of biographies.
My fav actors are Klaus Kinski, Mr. Bean, Robert de Niro, Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Hugh Grant, Gerorge Clooney, Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Tom Wilkinson, Billy Chrystal and of course all the films directed by Martin Scorsese, Fatih Akin, and Werner Herzog. Trainspotting, The Big Lebowski, The Pianist, Casino, Head-On, Michael Clayton and all these Monty Phyton films (Monty Python and the Holy Grail, etc.) are some of my fav ones.
My fav music groups, who head their peaks mostly in the 70s and early 80s, are Led Zepellin, The Doors, Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Supertramp, Metallica, The Stones, U2, Sade, Pavlov´s Dog, Marillion, Simple Minds, Bill Withers, Eric Clapton... and also some classic and "serious" stuff as Verdi, Carl Orff or George Bizet (particularly Carmen). "Can´t Stop" by Red Hot Chilli Peppers is presumably one of my fav songs. Frank Zappa as well as Jeff Bridges playing "The Dude" are some of my personal heros.
