ABOUT ME

I was born in the States, I traveled around until I was 12. Then I moved to Vienna with my mother, stopped traveling and finished an Electronics/Computer Technology trade school. In German you call that type of school an HTL (Höhere Technische Lehre).

After finishing school, I ran into problems with my visa studying economics and started working for a large american Networking company in the IT field.

I love to meet new people, exchange ideas and have interesting conversations. Or just walking around and absorbing everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a kid I was in Paris with my mother, I was really young. I must have been not older than eight. We didn't have our passports, so we were not able to stay at a hotel. We wandered around the city, slept on the street for the first night. On the second night, we met a really nice woman, she let us sleep on her couch until we had our passport.

I didn't speak any french, and she had a kid my age. We were not able to communicate with each other, but he had a game console with a star wars video game. He passed to controller to me and watched me play, I then passed it back, that was all we did in the evening my french was that bad! But even through we were not available to talk to each other, I'll never forget the experience that I had back then.
