We are both extraordinarily friendly and open-minded people. Our mission is to make meaningful human connections with the cities and countries we are visiting. After all, the relationships built and the memories shared are usually more memorable than the sights.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

One of our closest couple friends are hosts on couchsurfing and often bring along surfers in town to our group gatherings. While we haven't had a chance to host any ourselves, we really enjoy the aspect of meeting people from all over the world and sharing our knowledge and social functions with everyone who visits our city!

As we travel, we realized the best way to know a place is through the people that live there. Our favorite aspect of our trip is the friends we've made along the way.

Intereses

Philipe is an ex-cross country and track runner who now prefers cycling instead. He's into movies and good food and loves a good glass of Balvenie Double Wood whiskey. He hates shopping and prefers mostly to be a homebody or drinking with his friends.

Victoria is passionate about soccer but sticks to running these days. She loves finding all the coolest things to see or do in the city and spending the weekend with friends or scoping out the newest restaurant. She loves the beach and anything sporty.

Both are adventurous and love doing things outside. We love to try new things but our real adoration is traveling and meeting new people or exploring different countries and cultures.

Música, películas y libros

Philipe loves country music but generally doesn't discriminate on any good jam. He'll watch the same movie over and over but seems partial to super heroes and any good fiction film.

Victoria's favorite band is Coldplay and really loves some good Red Hot Chili Peppers from back in the day. Among her favorite movies are: Shawshank Redemption, A Time to Kill, A Beautiful Mind, and anything crime or suspenseful drama.

Both love a wide range diversity of music, especially Latin music and other cultural beats. Usually it's hard to agree on a movie though, especially if the title is anything from Marvel.
