ABOUT ME

We are a young (mid-twenties), friendly couple. Melina's Argentinean and Philip's German but we've been living in different cities since we were in high school. We met while doing social work in Kiev, Ukraine in 2008-09 and we've been together ever since. We got married in March 2012, settled in Miami, FL, USA, and are expecting a baby boy this August, 2013. We have a little, adorable 7-lb dog named Sammy.

Interests

We love love love to travel and meeting foreigners and learning new languages. Philip is a native German speaker and Melina a native Spanish speaker, but we live in the US and speak nearly-native English. Philip speaks very fluent Spanish and Melina is learning German. We both speak pretty good Russian.
Melina loves science and animals. Philip is more of a social scientist, now doing his masters online and hoping to one day become a diplomat or work for some kind of international organization.
