About Me

Hey,
my name is Philipp, I am 30 years old and I am from Germany. I ve been around a lot in the world since 2014, but I am more ore less stationary in the beautiful town Hamburg since 2019. I love to be outside, to do a lot of sports, to eat well, learn new language, laugh a lot and many other things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing, because I think it's a good way to get to know the locals, languages and other cultures or other people as well. I hope for good advices for my time in a city or a place. It is is a good platform to help other people or get helped by other people.

Interests

I am a huge fan of football/soccer and other kinds of sport (basketball, tennis, gym, jogging, etc.)
Furthermore, I love to dance (especially Salsa and Bachata). Recently I fall in love with the game Spikeball which I carry often with me. Also I love languages and learning them.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I like to listen and dance to Salsa and Bachata. I lived in Cali for three months, so I got some basic skills. But I like funk and soul music (Bill Withers, Miguel). My favourite song is "Ain't no sunshine".
For movies, I prefer funny stuff, but I am open for everything. "This is the end" with James Franco is one of my favourites. My favourite sitcom is "Scrubs"
Recently, I ve been reading the book "Mamba Mentality" of Kobe Bryant

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done a few amazing things.
But one really amazing thing was to visit the beach of the the movie "the beach" (with Leonardo DiCaprio) in a really adventurous trip. It was kind of dangerous, because we had to swim to the bay and there were a lot of waves which pushed us against rocks. And then, we had to climb and go through rocks to get to the Island. A lot of cuts and other injuries, but so worth it.
The skydive in NZ was also really awesome and to live with the locals in Samoa.
And of course hitchhiking around New Zealand, Samoa, Indinesia and around Australia (through the outback as well)!!! Then of course playing football in Brazil at the beaches was a big dream of me. And to learn how to dance in the Capital of Salsa, Cali, was really cool

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn languages, so I hope that I will improve my language skills and that I make a lot of valuable experiences for my further life. Also I can maybe teach you a bit about language or other things in life.
And ,of course, to share experiences and advices and to have a lot of fun are the most important things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of experiences and fun/humor!!!
