About Me

I have travelled a lot during my erasmus semester in Sweden/Uppsala (spring 23) and have gained some very good couchsurfing experiences. I like to spend my free time with friends, sports activities or music. I play the saxophone in various orchestras and bands. The environment is close to my heart and I feel especially comfortable in nature. I am a very open person and look forward to many contacts. My favourite way to travel is by train through various countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the most beautiful things is to meet new people and to trust them, because in most cases this trust comes back. Every place has its own story and this story can best be experienced and learned with residents. I would like to give this opportunity to other people aswell and I like to support travellers in my home country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many years ago on some day in summer a russian guy with his latvian girl knocked on our door and asked for accomodation. My parents (i was quiet young) offered them a tent and pitched it up in our garden. We made them fresh food, ate together and had a really good time. This experience had affected my growing up to be open for other people and set trust as a basic attitude.

Another great story was during a trip through Kyrgyzstan I got to know many people from Switzerland and a few weeks later I was interrailing and asked in the travelgroup from Kyrgyzstan for accomodation. Immediately I got so many offers and support of people I just talked a few sentences to. This reminds me of how generous people are when you only ask them.
