About Me
NO COPY PASTE REQUESTS
I realized that the best way to grow as a person is to confront myself with new situations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Locals are the key to get a deeper understanding of the social life in a city, without them every trip will be a superficial tourist experience.
Interests
I love dancing to electronic music (techno, house, acid, idm, ambient etc.) as a way of emotional expression to reach ecstasy without using drugs.
Also I am in love with food. I enjoy dancing in my kitchen while boiling some water and cutting some vegetables.
I like discussing about culture, politics and society.
I'm involved in a group of Urban activists which is doing (artistic?) performances in public spaces to promote citizens' participation and the 'right to the city'
Post-socialist cities and Eastern Europe
I'm interested in Gender Studies (especially in masculinity/patriarchy and queer theory). Some people might call me a feminist.
I take a lot of pictures with my beloved analogue camera. Mostly of weird urban places showing hidden sides of cities. I'd love to picture people as well, but often I have no idea how to approach strangers that catch my interest. There was just a few photo projects that I spend enough time with people to get close enough to them to portrait them.
I played theater a while which was amazing. Sensitive and quiet characters are not my strong part, I rather prefer some screaming psychopath.

Curating my own art exhibition about the diversity of Bulgaria and being interviewed about it on Bulgarian national TV.
Visiting a Roma community regularly to socialize and to get an entirely different picture about a group of people living segregated of society.
Being a model for the Bulgarian designer Stefan Kartchev.
Supporting unknown underground musicians in my radio show.
Supporting an artist/ activist group to build a Holocaust Memorial in front of the house of a famous far-right politician.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to dance! :D
Learning is an on-going process, it is happening all the time. I am excited for what comes next. However these days learning social/ emotional abilities seems to be more desireable to me than the cognitive/ academic ones.
What I Can Share with Hosts
