ABOUT ME

I think I'm an open-minded person that is interested in getting to know other people and countries. I like to go out and have fun with my friends and my boyfriend but I also like chilling, watching movies and talking to interesting and funny people. As you can guess by the previous sentence, I am gay and those of you who wanna be hosted or welcome me/us (when traveling with my boyfriend) should be okay with this tiny fact.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started to paticipate in the couchsurfing program in the summer of 2008. Since then, I have travelled a lot with some friends of mine and on my own and we/I have often stayed with couchsurfers (where possible). It was real fun and we/I absolutely enjoyed it. But now I guess it's time to give something back to the community and my boyfriend and I would like to host some people who are ready to explore the lovely city of Erfurt.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with couchsurfers in a lot of different countries (Spain, Thailand, Argentina, Israel and so on and so on). Met so different personalities and mentalities that it would take ages to comment it here. Just ask and I will let you know.

Interessi

Of course I like to travel around and see other cultures and people. I really like to discover interesting and new places where I can learn sth. about the local way of living :)

Musica, film e libri

I generally enjoy many kinds of music but especially from the 90s and early 2000s. But honestly, who doesn't like the music we listened to when we were teenagers?! :D Besides, I am very keen on every kind of traditional music, no matter which county it's from.
My favourite movies are those with a deeper sense which make me think about different problems in our society and helps me to develope in some way.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Hmmm, I guess there are several... Hard to say
- Swimming in the blue lagoon in Iceland
- Convinced a samba drummer to give me his drums and played with his combo under the arch of Lapa, Rio de Janeiro. Well, at least thats what I remembered at 4 am after a night out... I guess I was fabulous... NOT :D
- Putting my wishes to the Wailing Wall. So far I am still waiting for a result. Just so you know
- "Enjoying" a real Thai foot massage at Chatuchak market in Bangkok. Pain I had never felt before.
- Having a real Argentinian asado while hanging out at my couchsurfer's estancia in the Argentinian countryside. That would have been the right point to become a vegetarian
- Riding on a camel torwards the pyramids of Gizeh
- Explaining foreigners at the Oktoberfest how to sing my most favorite Bavarian songs. Well, actually this happens every year :P
- Climbing the ruins of Angkor Wat
- Going to a Finnish sauna on an island in the Baltic Sea and swimming there afterwards
and so so many more, exspecially during my last trips.

Oh... let's see... mhhh, quiet difficult to answer. Maybe let's just meet and then we can see what to share, teach and learn from each other. But I will never be getting tired of learning :D
