ABOUT ME

Greetings Globetrotters!
I had initially joined the community to meet wonderful people around the world and gain intercultural understanding. I really really look forward meeting you at my place or at yours, wherever that may be!

I am in my second year of Masters studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität (LMU) in Munich, Germany. I love playing the piano, I do film editing, read books and simply like to learn everything there is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I offer my couch, but I also travel quite a bit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few times in Bremen, Germany. I was welcomed by fellow couchsurfers in Georgia, Turkey and Rumania last summer (2012).

Interests

Firstly, I play the piano. From the classic realm I prefer Debussy, Chopin and Beethoven. I also play ragtime music (Scott Joplin) and compose my own music.

Secondly, I love FOOD! Whether German sauerkraut, Chinese hotpot, Peruvian Ceviche, American burgers or Turkish baklava, there is hardly another thing in the world that brings so much joy as food!

Thirdly, I am very much into Film. I got my first camera when I was 12 years old and have been documenting and making my own movies. I normally do everything: filming, editing, music composition, post-production etc. One thing I don't do is acting! :-)

Finally, I am very social and decided to study human social behavior. I love to better understand human nature, especially emotions. That's why I study Psychology and Neuroscience :-)

Music:
Queen is my favorite band, followed by Muse. There is also Zedd, Sting, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Jack Johnson, Mars Volta and yes, Beethoven :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia was pretty amazing! Vast salt deposits in all directions. Blue is the sky and white is the ground, nothing else in sight for miles and miles in all directions.
