About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn.learn.learn.share.share.share.

ABOUT ME

I was born in W. Berlin Germany and grew up mostly in the U.S.(Norwest Corner)I've been living in Washington since 1990 and Seattle off and on since 1994.
I've been moving around in Mexico since February.

When I'm not teaching English, I love to paint, draw, write, read and study Spanish. Looking forward to more travel especially with C.S.

PHILOSOPHY

The open exchange/sharing of information and ideas. Support and empowerment through creativity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy meeting other couchsurfers for coffee, a drink or a walk.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined in late 2010 before a two month long trip in Mexico. I met a lot of great people through CS and made some friends that I am still in contact with.
I've also surfed in France, Germany and Spain.
I look forward meeting more people in the CS fam.

Interests

I started writing (poetry and recently short stories) over a decade ago. I also other creative outlets like painting, acting photography and even cooking. It's always nice to meet creative peeps out in the world, now specifically in Mexico.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always thought the 5th element was pretty cool and Blade Runner too. I enjoy looking for indie flicks, documentaries and international films in general.
I like all kinds of music from to house to jazz, classical, reggae, hiphop, eighties, basically everything. Sade, Kruder& Dorfmeister, Miles(Kind of Blue), and Esthero, all get steady rotation.
I anticipate rereading "Virus Mania" multiple times throughout my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wrote my first short story in the beginning of 2022 and started teaching ESL/EFL English.
