ABOUT ME

I definitely used to be a bit more laugh-out-loud and punchy when writing these things, but I think I have been worn somewhat by the sands of times. I teach, I live, I love. I try to help, but sometimes I hurt. I am shaking my head into my coffee with a rueful smile. Who knows exactly how the world turns?

By the books, I'm a special-ed teacher aide training to be a special ed & math teacher. I am a feminist, with a degree in the subject, and somewhat of an expert on certain feminist intersections with both BDSM and rape culture. I am queer, and I like statistics . I am good at giving sex-positive and healthy advice on sex and romance and life. I don't eat meat. I like to hike, and ride my bike places, and occasionally I've even been known to read or write a poem.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a few times in New York City and then again In Israel. It was an amazing time and I look forward to finding someone to couch surf with again.

I am a now graduated women's studies major and statistics minor. I have a lot of on the ground experience with the activist world, and have also taught off and on in a truly vast array of environments over the past decade.
