ABOUT ME

British, mixed blood European. Travelled a lot. Like meeting people and experiencing new things and places. Open minded and friendly. Have been based in Edinburgh, Scotland for the last year and a half but travelled with work abroad for a large part of this time, France for 10 years before that and various places before that. Will be on the move again very soon.
I'm nice )). I like to hope. ;)
I'm simple or complicated, it depends on what's around me and what energy is around. I like to inspire and be inspired.
Life has given a lot and bitten a lot and I try to learn as I go. Try, I said. Try. ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met a lot of people in the short time I have been using the CS site. Mainly for meetings and socialising. Some special people )). I haven't surfed any couches as yet but one never knows what will be and I haven't hosted anyone yet either but that is down to being transient and not having a couch to offer.

Hung out in Hong Kong city as a kid with my mates when we weren't supposed to.
Held my own son in my arms within a minute of him being born.
Loved and been loved.

Anything I can. But even at my ripe middle age, I'm aware that things change and even I know very little sometimes and still need to learn. But I suppose English language teaching is my thing as it is what I've done for 12 years.
