ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Raised Catholic in a huge extended Portland Irish family. Stepped away from the religion but still have good Irish ties. I am extremely outgoing, politically motivated and spiritually growing every moment. I am a social butterfly, I love meeting new friends and seeing why we all are the way we are.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I bring positive energy and humor to all situations that respectively allow and need it. I have co-hosted a bunch of people. When people have stayed with me we have gone on lots of bike rides, checked out awesome restaurants, bars and breweries. Climbed trees, visited the coast, mountains, gorge, camped. I am looking to meet people to do similar things with and those who have similar outlooks on life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have lived for the last half year in a house where we have hosted quite a few people. (around 20-25, various size groups) Two of my roommates were on the site when I moved in and now that I am moving to Australia I thought it'd be good to set up an account, keep in contact with those that stayed with me and use this resource to meet new people in my travels.

Intereses

I love bicycling, it is my only form of transportation in Portland. I love climbing trees. Eating good, local cuisines. Telling jokes and stories. Grabbing a beer with friends, dancing the night away, seeing live music.

One such goofy thing I got to do this last spring was take a giant Oregon Duck mascot on a pedicab (tricycle taxi) in the Portland Rose City Parade.

I enjoy cooking, breakfast especially. Learning different styles of breakfast and combining different foods.
I love climbing trees and getting fresh perspectives with or without people.
