Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book of all is 1984, I have read it 5 times, so far. I also enjoy travel/adventure books/movies, in particular:
Into the Wild
Sailing Alone Around the World
On the Road

I like independent films/documentaries, foreign (mostly French) films, and cheesy 80's/90's movies like Point Break.

Music is too long of a list, I'll listen to anything once, most anything twice, some thrice and very few never again.
Top musicians (in no particular order):
of Montreal
The Decemberists
Arcade Fire
The Beatles
Kings of Leon
A Tribe Called Quest
Weezer
The Postal Service
Kate Nash
Funky Fresh Coalition
The White Stripes/Jack White

I'd like to learn:
-more about everything I can teach, because there is always more to learn
-fluency in French, Spanish, and more
-welding
-bio-diesel vehicle conversion
-to play guitar/other instruments
-just about anything someone is willing to teach me
