Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have an interesting story come out of every day.
ABOUT ME
I love random encounters and those awesome moments of synchronicity that occur from day to day. I'm terribly hard to offend and I laugh at the most inappropriate things. I'm a pretty compassionate person, but I've always sort of felt like it's better to laugh than to cry. You never know what life is going to throw at you so you might as well just roll with the punches. Besides, everything's funny eventually. I learned that from the Internets.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone has their own personal yardstick by which they measure their life. For me, the quality of a life can be judged by the number of interesting stories a person has to tell.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm brand new, but I've already had a great experience with this project. I plan to be apart of this for a long time and I'd love to contribute in any way that I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in San Francisco last summer and ended up moving here six months later. I felt comfortable and safe in an unfamiliar city thanks to my awesome hosts. I'd like to provide others with the same.
Interests
I sort of like everything. I'm like a sponge, I just soak up all that's around me. If someone is passionate about something, it's very difficult for me not to appreciate it with them. I suppose that's why I love to travel, I never know what will grab my interest next.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Big Lebowski. Amelie. Clerks. Music: Neutral Milk Hotel. Books: The Dark Tower series. Jitterbug Perfume. The Diamond Age.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had a school of zebra fish following me as I scuba dived in Fiji. They were cute at first but then they kept eating my hair. Stupid zebra fish.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love, love, love exchanging music with new people, as well as book and film recommendations. I like to cook and I'm happy share my culinary skills. As far as learning goes, I'm up for anything. I love talking to people with the most obscure, specialized knowledge. It's going to pay off in my future career as a master of trivia.
