Hey! I'm a queer 27 yr old from Melbourne. I love living in Melbourne, it's such a cool city, but I love travelling more and am just about to head to Europe for the next year or more!

I work in the arts as a creative producer, but have just resigned to start travelling. I like seeing live music and going to raves, going to museums and galleries, thrifting and wandering flea or food markets, or just chilling out and having a chat with a glass of white wine, beer, sake, whatever. I'm progressive, open-minded and easy-going. I'm a total clown - I love to laugh and fool around, but I also love a deep philosophical chat about poetry, the world, humans, etc.

I find the best thing about travelling is getting to know new people, and what better way to do that than living with them?

I've only couchsurfed officially once (at the time of writing this) and it was a really awesome experience. I've stayed with plenty of distant connections in my time though, and it is such a sick way to feel like a local, explore and delve a little deeper into an area. Saving a bit of money is definitely a bonus!

I'm going to Barcelona for Primavera and I'm sooo excited for Sabrina, Charlie, Chappel! And Kneecap and DJ Koze will be EXCELLENT.

This below I haven't updated since 2017 but I still stand by it:

My music taste is pretty diverse, I can get around most things! Most of my taste is slightly alternative, I love Vampire Weekend, Confidence Man, Regina Spektor, Mitski. I like a lot of Aussie bands and singers, like Stella Donnelly, Julia Jacklin, Camp Cope.
I like rap, been digging Tyler the Creator's new album. I love dancing to electronic stuff but I couldn't really name any DJs or artists! I like listening to new stuff and odds are I'll be able to get down to whatever you're into.

I love to read, mainly fiction novels and poetry, and I'll watch most genre of movies, but some of my favourites are Amelie, V for Vendetta, Pan's Labyrinth, and the Lord of the Rings series. I LOVE horror movies, no matter how cheesy or scary.

I'm keen to pitch in with cooking or cleaning, or whatever I can do to help. I love kids and am very happy to play and babysit!
If you like my art, I'd love to make you something :) I'd also love to teach you something - I've run art and poetry workshops before.
Other than that, I reckon I'm a pretty good person to have a drink or a smoke with, share travel stories with, and impart knowledge and wisdom to! Love to laugh and play and chat and philosophise and debate!
