ABOUT ME

Having mostly lived in bustling places such as Calcutta, Boston, and New York, I always considered myself to be a city dweller to the bone. Only recently I have discovered that I am equally at home in a wee little town in New Jersey, where I have been living for the past year. I very much enjoy the thrill of getting to know a new city, though it has been a couple of years since I last traveled. I love drinking coffee while reading, and I am something of a foodie. Although I hesitate to label myself a Buddhist, I happen to be quite a serious practitioner of meditation, and I am thoroughly interested in deepening my understanding of the Buddhist teachings, and doing my best to apply them in my daily life. I adore cats of any kind, even those that only glare at me from a distance or ignore me completely. I study linguistics, which really beats working for a living.
