My partner (Dedre) and I are both South African citizens who love travelling. We have been together for ten years and have been on many short holidays to various parts of the world. We realised that we prefer slow travel which offers the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture of the area so we decided to quit our jobs as Forensic Investigators and pursue our dream of travelling the world. We began this journey in November 2017, we have not planned ahead and have no idea for how long or where to next. We are however open to ideas and new opportunities. Chilled out and easy going. Always up for a cold one and "real" conversation with good company.

It offers a sustainable form of travel with so much more...The highlight of our travels thus far doesn't only include the beautiful places we have seen but also the beautiful people. We have met the most amazing locals and travellers along the way, all of them ending with enriching experiences and some of them continuing with genuine friendships. We really enjoy getting a glimpse into the life of a local, not only to experience the culture from a different angle but also to get different perspectives and ideas about life in general.
