About Me

Hi everyone!

I'm Phoenix - an introvert who digs warm, positive vibes.

After reading this section please read about "My Home" (which is under "Accepting Guests" on mobile version) to find my guest expectations, questions I would like answered in your request and keywords.

Also, lately I'm getting a lot, and I mean A LOT of requests from people with very incomplete profiles. Please understand that it is difficult to have a desire to host you if I don't have a lot of information about you, the people you are traveling with or what you have to offer as a guest. I put a lot of effort into preparing for each guest, and I am more willing to host surfers who show they are also making an effort on their part.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meaningful exchanges. ♡ Hosting is great because I get to meet and learn about different people in the comfort of my home during otherwise busy days.

I really enjoy the nature around this city! I'd gladly go with you to Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, the Colorado River, or Arizona Hot Springs if and when logistically possible. I also don't mind downtown Vegas (although not a fan of The Strip), and I am open to planning volunteer activities with guests, such as homeless outreach.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Love them all! See what I'm reading on insta. @evergreen.pages

Shows: Vikings, The Last Kingdom, Man in the High Castle, Cable Girls, La Casa de Papel

Music: Bon Iver, Local Natives, Blah Blah Blahs, King Krule, some rock en español, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent time in the "Jungle" refugee camp in Calais, France

Teach, Learn, Share

Aside from Vegas and American culture, my husband and I can also shed some light on Filipino and Swiss cultures.

I am open to anything and everything, but I'm at a speed bump with my language learning. Please reach out to me if you are down for an exchange in French, or if you can help me out with German or Spanish.

I'd also be really happy to learn more about:

Your language and culture

The history, politics, and governments of different peoples

Indoor/outdoor gardening

I usually stay stocked on Swiss chocolates and cheeses. ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, Philippines, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Philippines, United States
