ABOUT ME

I’m a blogger, writer, and teacher. I’ve been working in South Korea’s ESL field for the last three years. My one year contract has unexpectedly turned into a journey that I’m still on and loving. Exploring the ins and outs of Korea has been a blast. I look forward to seeing what’s around the corner.

I’m an avid urban explorer. In my free time I can be found checking out some nook or cranny of Seoul. When not out and about I’m reading my favorite authors like Rachel Caine, Laurell K Hamilton, Steven Barnes, Kim Harrison, Geroge R. Martin, Zora Neale Hurston, Mercedes Lackey, Tanya Huff and a ton of others. I’m a total SciFi Horror geek and write my own special brand of dark urban fantasy. I also love WOW.

I have a business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and an American Studies degree from the University of Southern California. My hope is to start a master’s program right here in South Korea.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life with no judgments or preconceived notions. I take it day by day and try to make the most of each one. I like adventure just as much as a nice evening at home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really don't know. I haven't made any plans yet for my first "couch surfing" trip. I dont have vacation for a few months so I've got plenty time to think on it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. Nada. I've just heard stories from folks that all seem pretty fun.
