About Me

I'm currently a student majoring in International Studies in the US, and I love learning about different cultures and people. Outside of the United States, I have only been to Japan and Canada so far, but I'll be heading to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan this Summer!

In addition, I love cooking, hiking, taking road trips, and I'm always willing to try new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet new people of different backgrounds to share stories, culture, and experiences.

Interests

I love unique architecture, hiking, cooking Japanese cuisine, eating food, and spending time with friends. My favorite part about traveling to somewhere new is walking around and getting lost for a couple hours in order to get a feel for where I am. If I weren't so busy with school and having my hands full with Japanese, I would definitely be learning as many languages as I can!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading fiction and memoirs, and I'm always open for new suggestions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once worked as a Resident Assistant with Japanese exchange students in the US. Having the opportunity to live with them and show them my hometown was a memorable experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Japanese food, language, questionable experimental cooking, and a sense of humor.

What I Can Share with Hosts

While I don't have many travel experiences to share with my hosts yet, aside from the USA, Canada, and Japan, I'm traveling now in order to make some memories in new and exciting places.

I do love to make food, however, and would love to cook something for my hosts if the opportunity presents itself!
