ABOUT ME

I work in the Commercial TV industry in Chicago mainly, I also do graphic design. Both are freelance. i like to cook, and make just enough money to have a happy balance of a stable living situation, but still have freedom to just get up in travel whenever you want - in other words, a full time job is not for me!

PHILOSOPHY

I love seeing new places and meeting new people. I enjoy helping people out- and I have traveled a lot so I know what it means to have a floor to sleep on in a foreign place when you aren't trying to spend a lot of money. I think when visiting a new place, a local perspective and contact can really be invaluable.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have only used couchsurfing a handfun of times, but eachtime it has been amazing. Whether it was just a floor to sleep on or a separate room with a key, I have always been amazed and grateful for the community. I have hosted also only a few times, but have been traveling for the last 3 months and when I return to Chicago, I look forward to opening up my house to travelers more often.

I like to explore, shoot photos and come up with crazy ideas. I like to check out coffee shops, and go to galleries, as well as spend time in parks and markets.

音乐、电影和书籍

scary movies are fun, but not gore. dramas are good. actions are terrible. i like foreign films, but really have to be in the mood. I like to read non-fiction books- things based in reality or informational books about nutrition and history.

Depending on the season, you would either take a couch or twin bed in the living room or have a twin bed to sleep on in the back porch (during warmer weather)- there even are times when i'm out of town and you can have my room- You can cook in the kitchen and shower of course :)
