To get out of C-Ville as often as possible, even if the only way is to read travel books and stare at maps.

ABOUT ME

I have a short attention span -- so I am always trying new things. By the time people learn I am doing something (like stained glass), I am often already on to something else. The big constant is writing ... I've done that forever and it's still my favorite activity. Since moving to Tennessee, I have not traveled nearly as much as I did when I lived in New England, and this makes me sad -- so it's time to fix that!

PHILOSOPHY

I'll try almost anything once. Twice, if I didn't like it the first time, just to make sure.

I once quit a great job to run off to Korea and get married to my US Army boyfriend. The marriage failed after 7 years, but the memory of that bold step lives on.
