About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to experience as many different places and cultures as I can, before I get tied down too much!

ABOUT ME

I'm an architect and an amateur photographer who just moved out of his place in Washington, DC to take some time to explore Europe. I'm planning to get out to Califronia when I get back to the United States.

I love getting out to new cities and countries, experiencing the way other people live. I try to stay away from the huge tourist spots, but love great architecture... And my camera (or a few) go just about anywhere I go.

PHILOSOPHY

I was raised christian, but am very open-minded. I've studied philosophy, too, and think that everyone has a lot to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just signed up, and am currently travelling. I want to host, because I love sharing my town with guests... The only problem is that I don't know what my new home town will be! I'll end up in either San Francisco or L.A., so as soon as I buy a new sofa, I'll make sure all are welcome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've lived on a few sofas for a few months upon moving to new cities... Come on, doesn't everyone in college?

Interests

Love running, cycling, and getting outside in a lot of different ways.

I'm a big fan of the arts, both creating and appreciating. I like art museums, but I'm even happier behind my camera or with a sketchbook and pen. Concerts and plays are pretty fun, too...

And I really enjoy getting out, finding local hot spots, bars, and cafes. I'm not the biggest on going out to clubs, but I'll give it a try from time to time...

I think new years eve in Gibraltar with their rugby team was a great thing...and then hiking with the Barbary apes the next morning up the rock!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught a few people photography... I think that it does a great job of heloing people learn how to see the world. And architecture makes me a good person to be in a city with: I think I'm very observant, and know how to talk about the built environment...
