About Me

A meticulous, curious guy, still trying to be a better software developer. I enjoy walking, seeing how people live, watching and playing with animals. I always want to know more about the world, how people think and do stuff in different ways. And the more places I have been to, the more curious I am.
I will be helpful at my best. As a host, I consider people coming to my city, my country as my/our guests, so I'll welcome you as warmly as I can. And as a guest, that's how I will express my appreciation to my host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before coming to Germany, I wanted to do something new, and hosting foreigners was such a new interesting thing to do, so I became a host. Now I’m in Europe and CS is a great way for me to make friends with people and get to know how they live.

Music, Movies, and Books

A calm metalhead.
The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Inception, Interstellar, Melancholia, The Devil's Advocate, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Elizabethtown, and Before Sunrise are some of the movies that I favor.
For books, politics, history, and philosophy ones like Sapiens (Yuval Noah Harari), A Brief History of Thought (Luc Ferry) are my reading habit. Other than those are books about Vietnamese history especially the time before and during the Vietnam War.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A trek through a mountainous area where I had an opportunity to face new physical and mental challenges. I together with my friend won.

Teach, Learn, Share

Still trying to figure out when to use this “the”, when to use that “the”. I did attend some Korean courses long ago, but stopped, now I’m trying to get a bit of it back. Wanna learn some programming languages? Be my partner.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An open, curious mind with random, somewhat strange ideas which can challenge your logical thinking but also can lead you to unexpected activities.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Portugal, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Viet Nam
