About Me
Im from peru. you actually don't know how to appreciate more your culture if you don't step out of the boundaries of your own country; at least that's what I've learned since I've been in the US; I have become more fond and proud of my own country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I didn't know such thing as thing existed! its so cool and exciting! because I really want to meet other people from different cultures and I would love to be immersed in the culture they live in if possible, and I think this couchsurfing would work because you are actually doing things with the LOCALS and not just touring on your own. Plus, I wanna be able to able to learn other languages because at least with the language you can get a bit into the culture of other people.
Interests
First, im very interested in languages. Hey, in the medical field at least you need to know another language. Im certified as a Spanish-English medical interpreter and its very rewarding to be able to talk to my patients in Spanish and try to dissipate a little bit off the things they didn't get in English. I don't do this very often, but at least when I do it is worthwhile to be bilingual!
Second, Im interested in traveling. Traveling is one of my favorite things! Anything can happen and yeah even when you don't plan things out, it can turn out to be amazing! or bad, but at least you experience new things! which is the most important part of traveling; being flexible; well let's be honest I try to be !! because I don't wanna have regrets; I hate the what ifs!! I believe you should just let go and just do it!! 'amazing things can happen when you least expect it'
Third, I love reading and yeah even though I like reading medical books; on my spare time, not all the time though I read a novel (I love fiction!; its amazing how our imagination works ! I love the fact that when I read my mind drowns into another world where perhaps Im the main character (at least if the book is in first person) or somebody else; I like how I picture things in my mind and I myself make my own conclusions. I love it !! even though sometimes me and the author don't agree together.
Four, always try something new; that's the most amazing part of life; enjoy every bit of it, with its goods and bads, just doing anything, experience and enjoy LIFE!!!:)
