About Me

Hi there! :)

I'm a 21 year old German girl. After finishing pre college, I decided to do something completely extraordinary so I went off to Australia. During my time there, I spent 6 months with a lovely host family in Perth, 3 months in Brisbane and then the big adventure started. Living 2 weeks on a horse farm and then starting off to New Zealand. Me and my bestie bought a really shitty car and had lots of adventures. Now I'm back home, living the ordinary live and me being me I can't wait for the next adventure.

I laugh a lot, maybe too much sometimes (I easily entertained) and love a good drink in the evening to talk about the world and it's meanings, so next to my goofyness, I like serious talk as well and try to be always open minded and hearted.

To really experience a place you have to get in touch with their people, that's why I'm thrilled to be able to be guest in a locals home and would be more than happy to make new friends during this experience :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and I thought it's the best opportunity to get to know a place best when you connect with their locals. The idea, to connect with strangers is thrilling and educating at the same time and it's great to be able to create a bond all around the world.
I had the chance to experience a bit of couchsurfing in Australia and really enjoyed it!
I spent a few days in a self - made hippie village trying to build a new civilisation and a week with a guy who saved me from that :D
It was good fun, so I would love to explore other cities this way.
I just don't like feeling like a tourist, when visiting a new place. It's such a different experience staying with locals.
As soon as I have my own place, I want to be a host as well and show my beautiful country to new friends.

Interests

Travelling brings alot of things with it, I enjoy, for example, increasing my life knowledge, wherefore I take new cultural experiences with me and other new things I can learn in a different place everyday.
Except travelling, I love to read (I can spend my whole day reading a good book and I won't stop until I finished), I love going to the gym or a walk outside. And I love to meet my friends and spend hours on the couch chatting about life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am, indeed, a little geek. I love Lord of the rings, Harry potter and Avengers. There are a lot of great movies and books we could talk about!

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to share the best time ever, filled with a lot of laugher and fun!
I could sing if you want to, I'm a horrible singer :D
I love sharing my adventures.
And I love to bake.
That's not much, I guess but hey, I'm still young and there is still space left in my head, which want to be filled.

There's nothing greater than sharing knowledge and stories filled with wisdom.... :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think leaving everything I know behind and starting an adventure all alone, was most amazing thing I've ever done. I learnt a lot about myself in that year. I learnt not to buy a car just because the guy seems nice and that Australia can be freezing cold.
