Hi all!

Just a regular hippie dippy dutchy from Amsterdam!
I teach at a children's choir, a job which I absolutely love. Next to my work I am finishing my studies in history.

The last six months I have studied in Florence, which really ignited a love for Italian culture and a hunger to see more of the world.

Apart from working and studying I spend my time going to concerts, having picnics with friends, taking walks, writing, doodling and daydreaming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I am excited to travel, learn different languages and cultures, meet new people and help others achieve the same.

The idea of people offering to open up their homes and hearts to relative strangers is beautiful to me. It encourages compassion and understanding, two things our world is in desperate need of!
