ABOUT ME

I am a very positive and very open-minded person. I love to travel and especially meet new people from all over the world by getting to know different cultures and views. I enjoy hanging out with friends, going out or just talk about the world. I am very interested in arts and music as well as languages, literature and history. I have lived one year in the US (close to Washington DC) and one year in Venice - both times those experience shaped my way of thinking, opened me up to a different reality of life, made me tight and long lasting friendships, taught me a new language and more importantly what life is about: creating yourself, be loving and grateful for everything you get and most of all: happy! I am studying voice (I love to sing) and opera dramaturgy. I enjoy visiting music festivals, go to masterclasses with some famous singers, perform and also lead my own dramaturgy projects! I am especially interested in Opera and love to get deeper into the actual message of works. I always find it impressive how modern opera and theatre can be and how it can teach us about life and ourselves. Next to music I also enjoy painting (acrylics on canvas) and photography or just being creative... I like is doing sports, especially biking which I do almost everyday and going dancing (I love Latin). I recently started Yoga as well. I absolutely love being out in nature, spend time at beautiful lakes or riversides, go tenting or on hiking trips. I am a very free spirit, I am spontaneous and creative and I always find it exciting to go and explore something new :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very grateful for all the wonderful people I already met through CS. Even some unexpected friendships! I think CS it's a great possibility to broaden our horizon and get to know other people that you might have never met otherwise! I personally enjoy anything from hosting, surfing or just meeting people for a coffee or drink and make them feel comfortable. When I lived in Venice I was able to host a lot. When I have my new place in Hamburg I hope to be able to host again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I so far had great experiences with CS and I always gained from meeting wonderful and interesting people. I think CS gives us the chance to be a better person and to get to know ourselves from some other perspectives.

Música, películas y libros

I could not live without music. I especially enjoy Classical Music and I love the baroque period (I adore Monteverdi) but also contemporary classical music (it can be so cool, like John Cage, Terry Riley) but when I am at home I love to listen to Jazz and Blues and cross-over bands like Jacques-Lessieur. I could never list them all. When I go out I love to dance to Salsa and Electro Swing, but I have also friends in the Heavy Metal section ;). Movies: I love the aesthetics of the Quentin Tarantino and Stanley Kubrick. Contemporary Art: Christoph Niemann, Damien Hirst, Anish Kapoor, Gerhard Richter, Ai Weiwei

Algo increíble que he hecho

I think I already saw lot's of different, beautiful things and places so far. I am very grateful for all my good friends from all over the world that I was able to meet through various occasions. One of the most inspiring places I saw was the Yosemite National Park in California. Other beautiful experiences were hiking on the Alps and Dolomites, visiting the Niagara Falls, spending time at the gorgeous Croatian coast at the Adria enjoying it's historical cities, people and traditions and food, visiting impressive art museums like the Hermitage museum (St.Petersburg) or the Vatican museum and being on the top of the Petersdom in Rome at sunset.. Parasailing at Montegrappa (I love to fly..) and hearing Emma Kirkby sing.
