Why I’m on Couchsurfing

after travelling 6 months and surfing a couple of times i feel its now time to start hosting (yes, i'm a beginner!). i want to make my guests feel like home and get a nice change to hostel dorms or hotels. if you stay longer than 3 days i can offer you towels and sheets, but it's always better you bring your own.

i live in the 8th district, which is halfway between "Gürtel", a good street to find something to party and "Ring", the big street that encircles the historic inner city. both is in walking distance, tram and subway are closeby too, as well as the uni and the big shopping street Mariahilferstraße.

vienna is generally a safe city, so I'd refer to this district as supermegasafe.

grocery stores in walking distance, restaurant on the other side of the street ("Wäscherei").

please note that its OK WITH ME IF YOU JUST WANT TO TRAVEL CHEAP and are not interested in human interaction-sharing-learning blabla. Because, honestly, I DO believe that couchsurfing sometimes is "only about saving money" and I am totally fine with that. BUT please tell me in advance so I am not confused and I can figure out how you can have as much privacy as possible.
