ABOUT ME

I tend to dream a lot about how I want life to be and when I can witness bits of this beauty in the world I get real excited. I often fall in love with people, places, works of art that are prone to being misunderstood. Please give me more nature! I recently had the fun experience of raising a baby squirrel to a semi-successful teenage-hood in the wild. Food and coffee keep me happy and moving - I love to share.

My younger self needed a lot of stimulation. As I'm mellowing out a bit I am finding the normal routines of having a tiny house and yard and garden, making food, spending time with friends in a laid-back way are very rewarding. Still, I am looking to travel and see new things when the opportunity arises.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I enjoyed staying with friends in New York and wandering the streets a few years back. Santa Fe is a very chill town and I will never forget y'all. A shout out to my cousins in Oklahoma, my aunt and pals in Portland, and Erin and her beau in Cincinnati. Eun Soo, you and your Stanfordian lemon tree will always be in my heart.

Lets talk about stuff! I like to discuss almost anything. I tend to walk around developing theories about random things without really trying.

Lets eat, play a game, make some music, drink some coffee or wine or whatever, have a fire, go dancing! By myself I do a lot of reading, journaling, pondering, exploring.

I've always enjoyed fairy tales (Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen especially), folk tales, Greek and other mythologies. Some children's books have the greatest illustrations and I am not ashamed to read them still. I've been leaning toward "spiritual journey" stories lately - just finished The River Why, working on the autobiography of Dorothy Day.

I am able to help teach people about music, especially piano skills.

I am a little rusty on my Spanish but it's so fun to speak and I will give help to anyone who wants it.

I love the stars and I know a handful of constellations. Also I have done some overly extensive research of astrology if anyone is interested.

I would love to get together and play music with anyone. I just bought a banjo and am curious as to tips on playing it.
