ABOUT ME

Between the Pianotrip user name, you can actually see two persons: I, Guillemette (26) and Christophe (25). We both represent a European project (5 awards, yeah!) now on the roads of Europe. The idea is quite simple, the action day by day = amazing and strong: we make the challenge to carry a piano with a (electric) bike all around Europe in order to play music and create surprise we it is not expected to be. This cultural and young ecological challenge started on the 27th of february, from France. We will cross 15 countries, 6500km in one year with this action, powered by human force, electricity, and sun energy (our freight tricycle is designed with solar pannels). Since now 3 months, we experiment this crazy odyssey of a piano-bike cycling all over the contrast of our commun reality and millions pieces of personals realities in Europe. In ordre to meet people we're they are living, and put the piano in different landscapes, between modernity and nature. The origin of such a project is the expression of a cry, the result of an observation: the necessity for a raqdical change towards our way of life as green ecology and human being. It's also a permanent question: What is happening at the very instant? In our societies and daily lifes, do we take time to communicate and be here at the crossroad of our life? HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are really fond of the CS concept. It creates an universal network only built by human participation. It really think that couch surfing and Pianotrip have the very same in common. How can we make more than carrying every day by day a piano (250)kg) on a bike, and invite people where they are in Europe to feel it together?

We really want to share as much as possible the amazing experinec we are living with Pianotrip. I think the best way to share is to be, to join, or to meet at the corner of a street. Nothing to teach, but to feel. We can't teach, because we are learning, all the time, and we keep leraning what people or situations have to teach us.
