Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I haven't a couch so I try to meet as many sourfers as I can in my city...hope to be more useful one day! ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered Couchsurfing in San Francisco, August 2011... I was alone there and a friend of mine suggested me this website... and I loved it!

I spent in SF some of the best days of the whole year with amazing people and great parties!

Once I came back to Switzerland immediately I looked for some local surfers and I found an amazing community in Lausanne and Berne! Every weekend there is something exciting to do, new people to meet, stories and cultures to know... I love it!

...and month after month some couchsurfers became real friends, people I'll keep with me for all my life...

I like science, I like the world and I like people!
Everyone has a story to tell and I want to hear them all!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like big books, books that stay with me more than an evening.
I like books that friends suggest me because that's a way to know them a bit better.
And I love old books, since they are able to tell a story longer than new ones...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- took a nap in the Plateau Point, in the middle of Grand Canyon... ok, doesn't sound so amazing but you should try! ;)

- called an "All in" in a poker tournament in Las Vegas... I'll keep that emotion with me forever (or at least until next tournament!)

- had a hot bath in a jaccuzzi in the middle of a frozen lake, in Switzerland (-7°C...) ;)

and...

I see atoms with my microscope! ;) first time has been amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

Probably I cannot teach anything but I can share my precise point of view on very important topics like:
- how to cook properly italian pasta "al dente"
- why world seen through polarized lenses is soo beautiful
- understand how can a man pray and cry for a soccer game
- why, to feel cold, is only a psychological factor
- and maybe some physics ;)
