Overview
About Me
I grew up in the South of the US, but I don't have a Rebel flag and sometimes people ask me "Where is your accent at?" I dreamed of becoming a writer when I was young but somehow became a nurse that still loves to write and read. My faith is my foundation; I don't mind lively discussions and dialogue about people's views, faiths, cultures, and politics, however I don't like to argue. For me, the best conversations usually involve laughter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've traveled a lot and have met many kind, amusing, intelligent people along the way and this is another way to do it.
Interests
I love learning new things. In my most recent trip in New England, on a whim I took a sailing lesson and can now "trim the jib" and "hoist the main". I love traveling internationally, but my current "bucket list" is seeing all 50 states, and I'm closing in on the finish line on that.
