ABOUT ME

I am a freelance documentary photographer.
I am presently working on a colourfull series on the Hijras, Indias’ Third sex.as a part of the project Transgender in the World.
I’ve been making portraits of transgender people in Europe for the past eight years.

I specialise in portraits and landscapes.
I also do lots of concert photography jazz and classical music on the side.

I strongly believe photography is a great way of communication. I like to do projects that make a difference.

I don't really have much Cs experience unless you count all the lovely people I have met on my travels who invited me in and let me stay with them. It has always been an enrichment and they get my indefinate gratitude.

For the past 8 years I 've been working on an artistic and documentary project on gender and identity.

It has changed the way the government and people in Belgium look upon transgender people in society, and I am very proud I could make the difference.
I presently focus on transgender people in other societies and hope also they can be accepted.

I have traveled in many countries,as a photographer learnig and trying to understand people... If you have an open spirit you already have a good start.

I can give some photography classes...as I have plenty of experience and a great darkroom.
