Hello!

I'm Pier-Olivier. I'm 34 and I come from Québec city Canada. I'm an architect, but I have a long past in theatre where I've been a stage designer, a musician and a comedian.

I'm a lover of culture, arts, nature and creating new connections with people sharing the same values and ideas. When it comes to make new friendships, it is really important to me to feel everyone finds its place in the relation. I prioritize harmony, respect, listening and sharing.

I like to find a good balance between being active and taking the time to slow down to appreciate the small details of life. And most of my aspects in my life are connecting to this idea.

English is my second language. I'm good to understand, my speaking is fluid and I wish to get more practice to improve it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new here on Couchsurfing because I'm planning a trip this summer to Ireland and I wish to pass some days in Sligo. I'm planning to stay few nights there and I wish to discover the town and the surrounding with locals who could help me find a place to stay and to live a more friendly experience.

I did Québec city to Newfoundland on hitchhiking ten years ago. It was my first and only hitchhiking trip, but it was really a growing experience.
