I love cheesy girly movies: French Kiss, Blast from the Past, Long Kiss Goodnight, Galaxy Quest, The Big Lebowski and Jay & Silent Bob. Idiocracy scared me to death!

Varied musical interest from Tonic to the Bloodhound Gang. Indigo Girls to Fuel. I like Sevendust, Avenge Vegas, and Jack Johnson.

Favorite books: Ender's Game, Jurassic Park, Clan of the Cave Bear, Wizard's First Rule, Timeline. Currently, I'm reading The Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I drove through the end of the rainbow.
No gold to report.

Raced to New Orleans 48 hours before a trip to Germany because my brother lost his passport (New Orleans being the closest regional passport facility to Atlanta.)

Saw a man with a hernia so bad, his scrotum was the size of a volleyball.

The birth of my children.(does that count? I'm sure everyone says that.)

I've donated three ponytails to Locks of Love (48 inches of hair!!)

Found out that in Mexico, "you kill turkey, go to jail long time." --ask my husband, over a beer, how I know that!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make an AWESOME pound cake. I'm willing to share my recipe if you need it. The secret is to make sure all ingredients are room temperature before beginning. Seems simple enough, but it will make all the difference. Also, not over-baking is important.
