About Me
"I become | the guide / who should have defaulted / who should have remained the novice / I | as guide | failed"
A. Rich"
I have studied italian literature at University of Bologna and from 2016 I work in a middle school in Milan as a teacher. I'm married with a wonderful sicilian girl who is an Italian sign language interpreter and a phd at University of Venice.
I'm very curious and intereseted in a lot of things: culture, politics, literature, travel, nature. I love to learn and experience new things and situations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A country is more than a place: country means also people and citizens, traditions and ethics, politics and history, love and hate. Couchsurfing means to learn the right alphabet of a country through the life and the perspectives of locals. There is no other way to understand a place.
Interests
- Poetry: that is: keep the eyes open, let things talk, especially the poor, miserable things, maybe listen to them, perhaps follow them, miss your way, find something else. Be proud or not. Think the world is always behind you and bear in mind that part is the most important one.
- Hiking and climbing: there is a deep feeling that you can nurture between you and mountains: you can take care of them through the physical contact, your hands upon its ridges, your finger into its chinks: climbing a mountains is a way of finding the first breath of the world.
