I love to learn and create, to trade ideas and have a good laugh. I believe in letting go and letting yourself be carried by the world around you ; I believe in being present.
Learning and speaking a country's language is one of the greatest pleasures I know. I'm the proud member of a Fablab.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling friends recommended the community to me ! I love being able to exchange and get to know a culture from an inside perspective. For me couchsurfing is about shifting your point of view and share, to be present in the journey.

I've never hosted through CS (only travelling friends) but it'll certainly come.

Jazz, Electronic Music (beyond simply house, Four Tet ; Jon Hopkins), Latin Music, Hip-Hop, Ambient Music...

BOOKS
Nonfiction, Magical Realism, Science-fiction and fantasy, comics and graphic novels.
I especially love themes such as folklore, artistry, and the love for one's land.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going travelling solo for the first time, in a country I knew nothing about and whose language I didn't speak. It was intense but I learned a lot, and fell in love with Portuguese (Brazil).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be glad to teach you anything I know !
French, Portuguese, English, how to taste wine (I'm the son of a winemaker), how to be a salesman and how to communicate well, some of the history of electronic music, the essentials of nutrition, how to use the Adobe suite...
A lot of intellectual ideas and their roots.
New music or books (I'm sure I can find some that you'll like).

As for learning...I love to learn, so many things would be good !
Right now I'd LOVE to learn to play the guitar.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice time, I hope !

Learning about local culture together, or seeing the sights of your home region with you. Go photographing with you. Have a nice chat about the topics we have in common. Or a nice meal (I appreciate good food, but I'm NOT a good cook !).
If you'd like we can even go to events together (concerts, parties, exhibitions...) !
I'd also love to help you with whatever is needed (household chores, groceries, etc.)

PS : and if you love anthropology, philosophy, or intellectual topics...we'll get along just fine ! Hahaha.
