Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Less seeing, more sharing.

There is a TV programme in France, called "Nus et culottés", that you can translate into "Naked and daring".
It is a pity that you lose the double meaning with the translation in english.
The programme is just amazing. It is about two guys shooting their real trip across a country, without any money. First they start half-naked and pick clothes that people give them. Then they hitchhike and ask to stay at people's home. There is no competition. This is just an alternative way to travel.

I really like this programme because this is the story of people with different background sharing a car, a meal, a night or a thought on the world. You discover people ready to open their heart to receive or to give for a few minutes or a few days

There is no commitment, no promises, just the pleasure to tell things you might not express under normal circumstances or to hear things you can blackmail afterwards ( what a way to finance ones travels !)

So I am looking for an interesting discussion, a nice stroll, a big smile and a willing to help.

I will not change your life.
But how far can the butterfly-effect go ?
