Overview
About Me
An ordinary Frenchman, in short. I am curious and I like simple things. Like everyone else, I need to exchange with others and if I can learn a lot in the process, it's all to the good.
I've always liked to travel, but especially when local friends can show me how they live in the country I'm visiting.
One day, I left everything here in France to follow love in Latin America. Was amazing! I have loved this continent ever since and can't wait to go back there. I particularly want to visit Uruguay and Colombia.
Important fact when hosting travellers: I have a kitten that snores a lot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been thinking about registering for several years so that I could meet and help foreigners to travel, in between trips. But I never took the plunge. Now I do.
I think it's a good way to share differently with people from all over the world, sharing a really a positive mentality. And maybe to have new ideas for future trips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was visiting a friend in Dakar whose father had moved there for business. I don't remember why but he took us to meet one of the biggest fortunes in Senegal (it seems to me that the guy was in the rice export business).
He was living in a very rough place. Nobody could have guessed that someone so rich was there. My friend and I smoked a cigarette in his yard and we saw his wives preparing lunch. They offered us to eat, as guests of their husband. Which was already very nice.
Then a group of young children living on the streets passed by in front of the court. The women naturally called them to offer them food, in the same way and under the same conditions as us.
This is one of the most beautiful things related to human relations that I have seen in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Maybe French language and dishes, some nice places in Paris.
I need to learn more English and to practice my Spanish.
Me muero por saber cocinar un buen ceviche!
I'd like to know more about the way people live the daily life in other places.
