COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted one time in Brussels by Manuel, a very nice guy.. That's how it started, I hosted quite a lot of people in BJ as well.

travels, discovery of new cultures and people, foreign languages, cinema (mostly as an easier and cheaper way to do the things listed above!), world politics (particularly african, DPRK, Great China), gathering with friends, having a drink, and many other things !

MOVIES: independent foreign cinema (asian, american - south & north -), shortfilms, lousy horror films ("séries Z"), blaxploitation, french comedy, "oldies" (Chaplin, Marx Brothers, Buster Keaton), corean cinema (violent or contemplative: i.e. Park Chun-Wok or Kim Ki-Duk), animation (Miyazaki, corean, Marvel-like)

TV SHOWS: 30 Rock, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, The Good Wife, How I met your mother, Curb, Arrow, Madmen, 2 Broke Girls, Little Britain, and so many more

MUSIC: "old" heavy metal but now not so much (Iron Maiden of course, and others Rhapsody, Rammstein, Helloween,etc); old reaggae, ska, punk, oï, classic, some trip hop (love Morcheeba but hate the others ;-), african music (traditionnal, "coupe-decale"), zouk, zouk-love, some latin music (cuban son,salsa), funk music, some electro (Chromeo), some disco blockbusters (Bob Sinclar, etc)

BOOKS: sadly, I don't read enough these times, kinda lost the habit. Let's list a few: kid & teen, I real ALL Jules Vernes; some french classics (Hugo but prefer Zola), heroic fantasy, weird fantasy, SF, and others...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once, I saw a chinese guy parking his Audi without outside help. For real!

My 3 year-old nephew asking me over the phone how it was to live amongst pandas, just because his inflatable globe shows the world with iconic animals of each country... China's being the panda of course...

教，学，和分享

People who know stuff that I don't know. If I know something that can improve someone's life, I'll go out of my way to teach it to him/her (if I'm in a good mood). I'll enjoy as much offering a beer as a thankful gesture to the person who taught me stuff as being offered one for something I taught. In both cases you get to drink beer so it's win win as they say
