Hey there, fellow travellers!

I’m Pierrick from France 🇫🇷, living in sunny Valencia, Spain 🇪🇸 with my partner Catalina from Colombia 🇨🇴. We are always happy to welcome fellow couchsurfers who want to share stories, laughter and a slice of local life!

What to expect with us:
- City exploration: We love showing guests Valencia’s colourful markets, golden beaches and pretty city center—and we’re happy to introduce you to our circle of friends if you’d like to meet more locals.
- Nature escapes: When schedules align, we’ll gladly take you to the nearby mountains for a hike and a wander through picturesque Spanish villages.
- Easy-going home vibe: You’ll have a private guest room (note: it can get hot in July–August, but we’ve got fans and A/C to keep things breezy).

Important:
We share the flat with four lovely cats. They’re friendly, but if you’re allergic this may not be the best match. 🐾

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Pierrick: Couchsurfing embodies everything I love about travel: generosity, curiosity and instant community. I’ve surfed with incredible hosts across continents, shared all kinds of adventures, and welcomed travellers into my own home as well. Every exchange has been a reminder that strangers are simply friends we haven’t met yet—and I can’t get enough of that feeling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Narrowing it down after visiting 90-plus countries is tough, so here are a few standout moments:
• Sailed the Arctic summer—skirting Greenland’s fjords amid towering icebergs, breaching whales and a sun that refused to set.
• Followed the Silk Road by land, inching from China to Europe on an unending relay of buses through Central Asia—slow, dusty, unforgettable.
• Circled the globe by boat as a kid, living the world one ocean at a time with my family.
• Met the love of my life in Colombia—an unexpected silver lining of lockdown.
• Took my first solo backpacking trek through the Amazon at 20, learning more in a few humid months than any classroom could teach.

I can share photography tips (or snap some portraits for you), play a few songs on the guitar, and whip up classic French dishes if you’re in the mood!
